The tests are:
- Full blood examination
- Urea, electrolytes, creatinine
- Thyroid function test
- LFT
- Iron studies

Full blood examination itself followed by cell studies for malignancy will tell the doctor. LFT is Liver Function Test. Thyroid Test will tell you about the Thyroid gland which controls the metabolism etc. Iron studies plus blood test will tell you about anemia. Urea, Electrolytes and Serum creatinine will tell you about the urinary system, kidneys etc.

Leukemia is a cancer of the blood cells at the bone marow level. Check out www.webmd.com and type Leukemia to get information about the diagnosis and treatment etc.

Yes it would as i know an 8 yr old that has had the same tests and they found leukemia.
Not sure of any others though.
