I guest I am trying to decide how to start a new life but I don't know how to do it. We were married for 20 years I new I would grow old with him. He had lung cancer 15 days before he died. He went so fast. I diden have time to say good by I thank that hurt most of all. I just don't know whitch way to turn. If any one has any answer please share. I have my kids but it is not the same. I need other people to talk to.

Okay. I work at a conservatory. It's very, very hot in there (around 80-90 with MIND-BLOWING humidity). I live in a very cold area....so I have two questions.

One-Will walking from the 80+ area to a 30- area hurt me? I do this at least 2 or 3 times a day.

Two- We have a misting machine (industrial-it's crazy). Will breathing in all this moisture give me any kind of lung condition?

Right now, my lungs feel kinda heavy, like I have extra liquid in there. I've been coughing to try to get rid of the feeling....it's pretty much working, and it feels like I'm coughing up all the moisture I breathed in today.

Also, how would I prevent these winter-type diseases/ailments, etc.? I have very little meat in my diet...is this bad? Any suggestions are welcome, but please be knowledgeable.

I have this pain in my right side under my ribcage that has since overtaken my liver. My skin around my torso aches like when you have the flu. The symptoms came on quickly (within two hours) and have not abated. I have not had a fever or any other symptoms. What could it be?

HELP my mom smokes like 3 packs a day and wastes money on dang cigarettes! I am sick of it! She refuses to even TRY nicotine gum or anything. My father was just diagnosed with lung cancer that has met to the brain. He has no insurance, his medicare starts 1 Feb 2008, but we need something to cover him until this date (about 30 days). Does anyone know of any resources or organizations that can help him make it until 1 Feb 2008.

I can normally only breathe through one nostril when I'm at home. I can blow my nose and its not congested or anything, but air doesn't really go through there unless I cover up the nostril I'm breathing through. Sometimes if I'm out playing tennis or doing something outside I can breathe normally, so I think its an allergy to something indoors.

Is there anything natural I can try and home before I resort to prescription nasal sprays? I'm already taking some prescription medication and I don't want to get on anything else unless I have to.

Would things like saline solutions or vapor rub help?

Im only 15...my dad has hemorrhoids so Im hoping that it doesnt run in the family..

my aunt is 77 years old she has breast cancer she has had this now for a couple of years.she still takes chemo.friday night she became ill. her son said she was yellow in the eyes.so they took her to the hosiptal.they said it was a low blood count and she needed a blood trans , they finally found some way to give her blood.it was hard because they could not find any that was compatabile to hers. could she have died and do you think she has long. thanks

My sinuses and allergies always bother me the worst during the winter. I always seem to have a stuffy nose,clogged ears, pressure in my head and sometimes my face, and occasional headaches. This is no joke! I found a small dark spot on the outside of my nipple and tried to pick at it.. it was like a scab but wouldn't pick off. I managed to get a little bit off but it was annoying me so I took a pair of tweezers... omg! I pulled out this white yellowish THING, from my nipple, it looked like an ant-sized slug, and I freaked out so I smooshed it between the tweezers and it flattened like dough. WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS? IS THERE AN ANIMAL LIVING BESIDE MY NIPPLE?! I'm sick with disgust, I'm ready to go vomit. Right now I'm left with a small red hole, it looks like what you're left with when you get a needle from the doctor but it's a little bigger and it faintly hurts. Huh?!

I have never had asthma before and I am 26. I started having trouble breathing, (yes I am a smoker but I plan on quitting new years) tightness and wheezing. Well, went to ER and they put me on a breathing machine, did an EKG and chest x-ray, said it was Reactive Airway Disease. They gave me a provental inhaler and put me on Prednisone at 60mg for five days. The Pharmacists said that it is okay to just stop after the five days but it worries me, they never said anything about tapering off, and it is not on the prescription bottle. anyone else had this experience, I have had this weird chest stuff for two weeks now and the inhaler only works a little, what could have all of a sudden brought this on?

i have had an upset stomach for months now. i feel sick most of the time and have cramps in my stomach like i have an upset stomach. i thought at first it was some virus but it has continued too long now. I dont feel like eating much but dont actually be sick. any ideas?
