Well I went to the er yesterday night and I have pink eye. They gave me a steroid shot and a shot of benadryl and this super freakin expensive eye drops my insurance wouldn't cover hardly any because it's so expensive, Patanol is what it's called. But anyway how long before my eyes feel better. They're only red on the bottom of my eyes now, they were completely red but they throb they do not burn. Everytime I close my eyes or blink it feels as if someone is punching my eyeballs. Anyway, is there any home remedies to at least ease the pain? I'm confined to my home until tuesday no school, work or anything with it.

Are there negative health issues related to eating really hot or spicy food?
Other than the obvious possible discomfort, can hot sauces or spices do permanant damage to your insides? What's the hottest thing you've ever eaten? Would you do it again?

since tuesday i have been breathing through my mouth. I feel as though i cannot breath properly if i try to breath through my nose. i have also been sneezing and have a runny nose , i went to the doctors and he told me i had allergies. He gave me an antibiotic and a nasal spray and told me to use claritin. I feel as though i am thinking too much about my breathing and thats why i feel like this. I feel like i have to put effort in to breath. I talked to my doc about it and he said that it is part of the allergies and once my nose clears up i will be able to breath better. i suffer from anxiety and i am freaking out , i feel as if something is stuck somewhere and thats why i am breathing through my mouth and not my nose. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Please help , im freaking out

My daughter has been diagnosed with Brain Cancer for the 2nd time in her life. First time was when she was 5 - she endured 3 years of Chemotherapy and pulled through and was in remission for 9 years. Last May she was diagnosed again - with her 2nd brain tumor. She has NO friends because of her condition - other kids are afraid to approach her - nobody knows what to say th her. She is still in High School and has another year left - due to all the time she missed from her illness. She receives Chemotherapy every week - and has 29 more weeks to go. Her father has remarried and told her that he has a new life now and barely spends time with her and told her to grow the hell up already because she cries when he does not want to spend time with her. LOSER - - - Her step-father is wonderful with her. Any ideas on what to do to make her summer fun. Can't go to many public places like the beach or a public pool for fear of infection due to chemo. Any suggestions are MOST welcome.

Do you know any side effect of moxibustion? I have gotten it three times 'cause I have gotten no energy and felt extremely tired. My doctor told me that my bad blood circulation has caused my physical downturn. He insisted that I should go on for 2 weeks. But when can I tell that I have had enough. Is there any side effect if I have gone too far?

Recently i discovered that i've have what painfully looks like HSV-2. From what I know, genital herpes can only be contracted by intercourse with someone who already has it which is impossible in my case because I never had intercourse, I'm not even legal.

From what I see, it looks like exactly like acne with a white blotch in the middle and red around but doesn't appear in clusters like what I've read, there only is one. I'd like to stay optimistic and say that this is just one messed up case of acne and puberty.

I also read that it cannot be contracted from things like toilet seats and others.

What are your views on my case? All the evidence points away from what I think it is but the devil's advocate's playing inside me keeps me from thinking the best.
