Sometimes the uvula in the back of your throat becomes very lax and floppy which can cause you to have difficulty breathing while sleeping on your back. It presses on your airway. Being overweight is one contributor. Check with your doctor.

without understanding your a even as, that is confusing to speculate. You did not say how a lot beer she drinks? Is she an alcoholic or something that this causes you a lot misery? for sure she enjoys ingesting, she lied to you because she isn't waiting to provide up and would not favor you to understand. If this causes you a lot misery there should be extra to it than her having an occasional beer. in my opinion, my husband and that i do not drink, yet I see not something incorrect with absolutely everyone having an off-the-cuff drink from time to time. that is only even as ingesting is in extra that it will develop right into a issue (or if the guy drinks and drives). you want to sit down and performance a severe communique mutually with your lady friend. She needs to comprehend the way her ingesting makes you sense and what it really is doing on your relationship. If she is unable to provide up ingesting then she for sure needs some help. until eventually she is waiting for some help, there might want to not be something you may want to do. Her "ingesting" might want to be out of your administration, besides the indisputable fact that the alternative to stay in a relationship with someone who has this issue is totally yours. I favor you both solid success.

go talk to your Dr. i read some where that people with heart disease will find it hard to breath at night when they try to sleep. do you have any other symptoms. nausea is also a symptom. getting tired faster than normal and heaviness in your chest can also be a symptom. if you start to feel tingling down your arm and on one side of your body call emergency # in your area that is a heart attack and of course chest pains.

I am sorry that the all other respondents have taken your symptoms lightly, but I think you smoke too much, and depending on your age you must be more comfortable on right side.
There is nothing to worry at all, just go to an ENT surgeon and have yourself consulted.
However you are not suffering from any cardiac disease as from your history.

you have to take an other way of going on your back. let your legs turn to your side but let the arm on which you not lie turn to the other side. it cost some exercise but it works.its only a habit and not a disease

Please see a doctor immediately.
You may have sleep apnea, diminished/insufficient breathing at night.
This can escalate, see someone to determine if there is a need for medical assistance.
