Banana skin DOES work for some people! You have to keep applying a piece every day (inside of the skin to the skin). Other non-conventionals include garlic paste applied daily, essential lemon oil or tea-tree oil dabbed on twice a day. Homoeopathic Thuja mother tincture can also work - but it's about finding the right remedy for YOU with verrucas rather than the verruca that you have!

well as no verruca/wart removal treatments at the pharmacy worked on me, nor Cyro treatment, I ended up having the doctor remove it, it only took about 15 minutes, the doctor numbs the area with a general anesthetic (jab) then cuts away the verruca/wart, it sounds worse than it really is, then finally burns away any remaining verruca/wart which should hopefully kill off verruca/wart once and for all, the only down side is that you won't be able to walk properly for awhile if the verruca is on the sole of your foot, like mine was,if its on the hand, not so bad, though it will be tender for awhile, mine is still healing as I had the procedure only a month or so ago, try Salicylic acid first, usually an acid treatment found at your chemists, the one I used was called Seal and Heal Verruca Removal Gel by Scholl,(its suitable for warts, corns and Callus as well) then ask for Cyro treatment performed by a nurse, if this dosn't work, its best just to get the doctor to remove it for you, hope thas helped you alittle, good luck!

Wow - sepolavi (aka Porky Pig) told us more than we ever wanted to know about warts! :-) There are hundreds of alternative wart cures. All of them work to some degree, depending on the type of wart & the person's own immune response. Many times a wart will reappear and the treatment has to be repeated, even if the doc cuts or burns them off. Usually after 3x the virus gives up. One other alternative not mentioned yet is Thuja (Thuja occidentalis, aka arborvitae). Take 5 drops of Thuja tincture or extract in water, morning & evening. Use the Thuja tincture topically at least once a day. Thuja is specific where reaction to vaccination is suspected, but has good sucess rate in other cases as well.

Iodine, or preferably Lugol's Iodine. Then, I know this sounds odd, but duct tape. The tape is better than normal first aid tape because it sticks better. The warts seem to react to not getting any air. The iodine dries it out and injects it with a boost of immune system chemical (the stuff that helps the thyroid filter blood in your body). The tape works really well when you have these on your feet, because it won't come off in your sock in the middle of the day!

As a teenager (not so long ago) i had loads of warts on my hands...I'd tried everything but the damn things kept spreading. I went to a friends house and her mum said here use this and proceeded to cover them ...within the week they were gone! The product (England only) is called Compound W .....most chemists stock it and it worked brilliantly for me...good luck

By soaking the plantar wart in very hot water, because it softens the wart, and will kill the virus.Make sure the water is not too hot,so you won't burn yourself.
