My Three year old Son developed a Petechial Rash (small pin point bruising) on his ears, neck, shoulders and under his eyes. I took him to see his doctor who asked me if he had been vomiting a lot of scratching himself, that I have noticed, but he has done neither of those recently. He is otherwise healthy. He has a good appetite, gets plenty of rest and eats and sleeps on a regular schedule.

His Doctor ordered a CBC (Complete Blood Count) blood test to check the platelet levels. She thought that this Petechial Rash may have been caused by low Platelets. There was concern that if the platelets were low, that he may be at risk or already have Lukemia, or some other blood disorder. When the results came back, they showed that his CBC was completely normal with no problems.

I have scheduled an appointment to meet with his doctor again next week to look further into this and find out what is going on. Before I go, does anyone have any ideas what else may have caused this?

In the recent SouthPark episode Stan, Kyle, Cartman, & Kenny (don't worry, they killed Kenny again), play World of WarCraft until they each put on about 100 lbs, get carpel-tunnel, have diaherra, can't see, an...get terrible acne. There was a famous baseball hero that wasted his life after retirement, sitting infront of a terminal, and was also depected with acne. Why do people that never leave the computer have acne?

The doctors say it is just a virus...we think it is something more serious.

I have asperger's syndrome, and I've been taking seroquel for my bipolar. However, I've noticed after I'm taking this medicine (100 in the morning and 150 at night) that I've been going through a side effect called, anterograde amnesia. During class, as soon as a teacher says out loud directions of what we're suppose to do, I'd have to ask again because I wouldn't remember anything that the teacher told me to do. I may have an aid to assist with me, but there's no aid around me to help remember telling my parents about important phone calls (even if I write them down, I'll forget to give the messages to them) or to remember that I need to exercise or take a shower or study. I may talk about a subject that I already discussed with either a teacher, friend, or family member. I called my doctor and he told me that he's never heard of this problem or any complaints. He's cutting me down to 50 miligrams in the morning and 150 at night. So, does seroquel have this memory problem?

I have a small bump on my scalp now going on 4 years. If I sweat it enlarges and sometimes itch, then when I shampoo it shrinks and does not itch in any way. It is not red in color, it is skin colored. It does not hurt, but if you apply pressure, it is sensitive. I can almost totally shrink it with peroxide application, but it will not go away. It has not spread, but it just bugs me. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks

I have had rosacea now for about two years. My doctor prescribed some metrogel cream for me, but it didn't do any good. I know about certain procautions I can take such as staying out of the sun as much as possible. I was just wondering if there are any legit store products that might help treat it, or something I can get treated for at a Dr. or dermotologist????? Please help!
