Heart flaps are called valves. They function as a block to keep blood going forward while it is being pumped. Each side of the heart has two valves, for a total of 4 valves.

depending what you are calling a flap.

Atrial flap
or if you are talking about the valves in the heart, tricuspid calve, pulmaonary valve, aortic valve.

if u mean the valves:
the left sided valves:
the mitral valve between the the atrium & ventricle
the aortic valve at the begening of the aorta
the right sided valves:
the tricuspid valve between the atrium & ventricle
the pulmonary valve at the begening of the pulmonary artery

There are two heart valves - the aortic valve and the mitral valve. Each have little flaps.

Do you mean valve? that controls flow of blood in heart?
