Labs: Elevated AST and ALT. GGT is consistently above 500. AP, Bilirubin, PT, LDH are WNL. Hepatitis profile for B and C were wnl. (vaccinated against A in 2000). Sed Rate 40. All ANA tests normal. Cerulugen normal. CBC normal.

CT shows multiple large cysts consistent with Poly cystic Liver disease without renal involvement. CT showed same density in spleen and liver.

Biopsy showed occasional cellular edema with Mast Cells, Eosinophils, and some lymphocytes. No fibrosis. Mild patches of fat noted.

No history of drug or alcohol consumption. Non-smoker.

Maybe some medical student out there can figure this one out. Ask on of your professors. All the physicians I have seen have no idea other than say it may be combination of conditions.

I have recently moved to a new area and am under more stress. I started taking nutritional supplements about 5 months ago to boost my immune system. Wondering if it is possible that my nerves could be causing the itching (like hives?) but there is no welts or boils just swollen glands under the skin of my scalp and neck. Any answers would be appreciated as I do not go to the doctor unless feeling on my death bed!

STD Notification such as increase and decrease.
For example if you study this on a graph. Does this mean that if the STD Notification is increased it refers to the increase of STD? or maybe decrease in STD?

I have been seeing a neurologist due to extreme muscle and joint pain, i stumble a lot, drop things, forgetfullness. I do have fibromyalgia and have for years. I also have peripheral neuropathy ( no diabetes) I have had tests to rule out Lupus and MS (which does run in the family) Lupus is neg, not enough points or evidence for MS, ( no lesions on the brain) but does not mean i do not have it. So now he wants to do more aggressive and specific testing. What I want are some suggestions of what it might be from those who experiene this, so that i can read up on it so that I can ask questions and not look like a dope when we discuss different possible causes and treatments.

I have severe Osteoporosis of the spine. I am on Alendronic Acid + Adacal. I take HRT although my GP would like me to stop. I had a hysterectomy at age 40 and no one checked my bone density following this. I asked for check at 44 and they found, using a spinal/hip bone scan that I was in the lowest density possible. This would not have been picked up on a foot bone scan. 4 yrs on with treatment I am getting worse not better, unfortunately. I have constant back pain, thought to be from crush fractures and difficulty with walking or sitting for any length of time. My life is begining to shrink in terms of what I can or can't do. I want to be able to play with my grand children and lead as normal a life as possible. So any info greatly received. Thank you.
