Imodium helps to slow down the gut movement and thus stops purging. Charcoal pills help to absorb the toxins which may have been ingested. Imodium works faster but charcoal hits the root of the problem...thus the best is to take Imodium first and then charcoal pills an hour later.

Imodium contains a drug to stop peristalsis. Charcoal pill are used on poisoning to absorb the substance. No drug effect.

imodium is better for diarrhoea charcole pills usually are used to absorb toxins in your stomach if you eat something chemical you shouldnt have eatten.

Immodium is definitely better for diarrhea. It helps stop the spasming of the intestines.
Charcoal is usually only given in cases of poisoning of some sort.
