The doctor told me to put drops of olive oil warmed to skin temperature in my ear each night for a week to loosen some ear wax in one ear. Is it safe to put stuff like this in your ears and if so can you overdose?

Cheers

I have always been prone to ear infections and as soon as I feel a bit coldy, one of my ears gets infected, sometimes both. It is sometimes v.painful and happens every couple of months. I have been told by my doctor it is due to bad eczema in my ears and there is no cure.

I have tried homeopathy and an allergy diet with no gluten, dairy etc with only slight improvement. Any one have any ideas at all? I'm desperate. Thanks.

The cyst was full of sebum or secum, a thick whitish substance. The first time surgery was used to remove it, and the second time I took the natural route, and was impressed to see a silica supplement cause it to disappear. In what way did the silica work to heal it, and is there anythign I can do to prevent the same occurence ?

more and more people are starting to use marajawana for medicen, i have started to do research because it seems like a enteresting topic, and before i judge some thing i like to no what i am talking about,i found were there are many difernt types of marijuana, and each type efects you in a differnt way, so it can be used to treat differnt types of illness, or symptoms, are they lieing to me? as time goes on what medications do you think could be replaced by marijuana, has any one ever brought up a cost differnce between marijuana and some of the priscription drugs, and who it is efecting. i am very interested in this topic because i have started useing marijuana for my own medical problem, and it helps better than any thing else i have tried, with fewer side efects. and i still work and carry on like most other people, and i have to admit my health seems better than alot of people. i am very enterested in this topic so any true info you can tell me would be great. ifyoudisegreePLSxplain

I think we all suffer small bouts of depression this time of year, but mine's been more tenatious and has lasted longer than I would expect it to. I really don't like the idea of medicating the pain away, so does anyone have any suggestions for an effective "home remedy"?

I was recently diagnosed (by an MD) with sciatica. While it has been getting better, I decided to seek the treatment of a chiropractor. I had my first consultation and adjustment this week. He took x-rays and determined my spine is not vertically straight (I lean to the left slightly). However, he wants me to come back 3 times a week for 8 weeks, then go on a maintenance schedule. I was sort of skeptical of chiropractors to begin with, but to me this seems excessive. He said my muscle memory needs to be changed and that is the reason for the frequent visits up front. Does this seem reasonable? Are there more questions I should ask of him before committing to this schedule (and expense since not covered by insurance)?
