Genital herpes: A viral infection transmitted through intimate contact with the moist mucous linings of the genitals. This contact can involve the mouth, the vagina or the genital skin. The herpes simplex type 2 (HSV-2) enters the mucous membranes through microscopic tears. Once inside the body, HSV-2 travels to nerve roots near the spinal cord and settles there permanently. When an infected person has a herpes outbreak, the virus travels down the nerve fibers to the site of the original infection and when it reaches the skin, the classic redness and blisters occur.
Outbreaks of genital herpes are closely related to the functioning of the immune system. Women who have suppressed immune systems, either through stress, disease, or medications, have more frequent and longer-lasting outbreaks.

Genital herpes is a form of herpes like you get on your lips or mouth such as a cold sore or fever blister. You may have a herpes sore on your mouth and touch your genital area and it is transferred into the vaginal area. It is very painful and so contagious that it can be spread from one person to another before the sore is actually visable. It sheds its germs by kissing, oral sex, and a man or woman might not know they're contagious until it's too late. It takes about 7 to 10 days for the blisters to appear and you must not have sex during this time. Another problem is that if you get genital herpes from sex, you have probably exposed yourself to other venereal diseases. Being careful is the best way to avoid this as it never leaves the body and could appear again one month or one year from the last time. There's some new prescription drugs to cure this but otc drugs will not cure it. maybe make it bearable. Be safe, not sorry

Take a look at the site listed below for the Center for disease control. Thre is much infomation there as well as pictures.
1 out of every 5 people in the U.S. have genetal herpes and
1 our of every 4 women in the U.S. have genetal herpes.
You can contract them from a male who is infected even if he uses a condom - there may be a herpes sore that is not covered by the condom.
Same for men - even if you use a condom your chances are high that the area the condom does not cover will get infected - "the twins", "the boys"...what ever.
There is no cure.
The first out break in women is painful with various symptoms.
Men sometimes do not recognize the visible symtoms and are not aware of their defect - oh infection, sorry.
This is a scary contagion - even though you may think you know some one, you just may not.

Herpes simplex is a viral infection caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), one of the herpesviridae. There are two types of Herpes Simplex Virus: HSV Type 1 and HSV Type 2. The ways in which herpes infections manifest themselves vary tremendously among individuals. Most cases of genital herpes are caused by HSV-2. It is widespread, affecting an estimated 1 in 4 females and 1 in 5 males in the United States.

There are two types of viral herpes infections. Herpes simplex 1 is most commonly seen in cold sores around the mouth. Herpes simples 2 is most commonly seen in the genital areas. Both are transmittable to kissing/sexual partners whether there are active blisters or sores or not. Because of oral genital contact either kind of herpes can be found in either area, though they predominantly remain oral type 1 and genital type 2.

I got identified with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 3 yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I know loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/pk2SJ everything changed.
Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.
