Ok so I go to the gym just about everyday and every other day I use the weights. Every day I use aerobic machines. I'm feeling extremely sore today and I have to perform in a pep assembly tomorrow. I am a cheerleader and I have to do my back tuck (or a backflip for those that aren't familiar with gymnastics language). I just need to know how to not be so sore so that I will be able to perform my best tomorrow. I have taken IB profen today...I'm not sure that is how you spell it. Is there anything else I could do? Do Icy Hot patches work for soreness? All answers are appreciated and I'm really sorry if you have a strong opinion against cheerleaders! I do know lots of people like that. I just need the most help I can get so I don't look like a goof ball tomorrow! Again, thank you in advance! Hope all is well!

I have cut down on what I am eating, so I am making the necessary calorie deficit required to lose weight.

I have found a website detailing how many calories are burned by doing certain activities for a duration of time, but I don't know how many calories I need to be burning per day in order to lose weight.

Yesterday, my mom found out she has to have a Histerectomy, and is scared to have it done because it is surgery, but I told her to think that she will never have to have periods nemore. She told me that from after having kids, some women need to have one.

I just got married on June 17, 2006 and am 21 years old. Until yesterday, I was excited to have kids one day and I was just scared to give labor WHEN I do get pregnant, but now that my mom is having a Histerectomy, it makes me scared that I will need one when Im older and so now I am scared to have kids. I'm 21, young ,and me and my husband want kids and I shouldnt have to worry about this! Is this hereditary needing one of these?

If you answered my last question about hitting m head I did go to the hospital and I do have a slight concussion. He told me not to do any driving, strenouis activity, etc. but now when I get up I get lightheaded and somewhat dizzy. but sitting down I feel fine, I also can eat, drink, without getting sick or throwing up. is the dizziness all part of after head injury's?

My son fell off a slide 3 ft in the air and neither one of his teachers seen the acident and they didn't bother to call an ambulance although anyone who nows anything about first aide knows you do not move a person if they have a head injury which he landed on his head, and shoulders. The school did call me and I took my son to the emergency room. Right now I am pretty up set and am debating on what to say because I don't want to blow up but I would like some suggestions on what to do. I have asked a few close friends but I think they where just saying what they thought I wanted to hear. Or what they felt would be some excitement for them.

I just recently started exercising regularly, and I'm trying to slowly build up. Today, I started crunches, but in the middle of doing that, it occured to me that I have no idea how many I'm supposed to do, so I just did thirty, since it was a nice even number and made my abdomen hurt in that good, exercisy sort of way. But it does seem like an awfully low number. How many crunches should someone starting out do?

I notice most of the other people at my gym use the highest incline setting, but when I do that, I feel like I am just letting gravity do the work for me. Does anyone know whether I would get a better workout (and higher BPM) by using a higher incline? What about increasing the resistance?

I have had braces for about 4 months and haven't really had any problems until now. I used to have an eye tooth (not sure of the technical name, sorry.) the was crooked and sort of jutted forward and slightly to to the right in front of my front tooth. Since I've had the braces, this has come down and straightened out, but I've noticed that the space between these two teeth has become EXTREMELY sensitive to cold and heat over the last week and a half. Any time I drink or eat anything cold or hot, I get this pain that just shoots through my mouth until it decides to calm down.

Does anyone know how to make this stop? From what I can tell, it's not a cavity, as it hasn't shown up on my dental x-rays. The entire tooth is sensitive due to shifting, and best I can figure is that the tooth has had a spot exposed that's not used to being exposed and is very sensitive, but how do I make it stop?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
