Have you had a check-up lately? If not, you should go to the doctor! Make sure that something else hasn't caused your weight gain or impeded you from losing weight.

If everything checks out, exercise for 30-60 minutes most days of the week, and be more careful about that you eat. Basic math here, you need to burn more calories than you take in to lose weight. At your current weight, consuming about 2400 calories a day would keep you at about what you weigh now (that's 100 calories per pound). To lose weight, consumer fewer calories and burn more through exercise.

the ideal weight for a male that's 6'2" is 195- 200 llbs. You cant loose weight in certain spots. You loose weight from all over your body when you work out. You may have a lot of fat stored in those areas so the best way to loose that fat is cardio (treadmill). Using the stairs instead of the elevator or stuff like dat. You can make your stomach more firm by doing standard crunches and sit-ups. Also good eating habits....its better to eat 5 small portions then 3 big portions. Keeps the metabolism moving. hope i helped.

The best thing you can do is eat a whole foods, plant based diet. (Or at least mostly vegetarian) You will never have to count calories or calculate carbs, you never have to worry about if they are bad carbs (unless you are eating junk food, which just isn't part of the plan) you will get plenty of protein from the fruits & veggies and you will have lots and lots of Energy. Next find an activity you enjoy, whether it is walking, biking, swimming or whatever. If you make it a lifestyle thing and make it fun, you will never have to 'diet'. You wont even have to think about it. The only thing you need to worry about, is "is this food good for you (something that came from nature - 'god' made or NOT good for you 'processed' AKA 'man made')" and thats all there is to being thin for life. It really is that simple (notice I didn't say EASY, I said simple!)
P.S. Drink LOTS of water. NOT juice, not diet soda, NOT MILK, just plain water.
Here's to your health!

Probably about 40-50 lbs. But if you have a lot of muscle that could be a lot lower. Are you a football player or wrestler?
Are you physically fit or flabby?
Can you go to a gym?

Swimming would be great for upper body toning and most importantly, cardiovascular health. Plus you don't have to feel sweaty because you're already wet!
