Does it actually clear out your sinuses, or just knock you out? I can't sleep if I can't breathe through my nose, so I'm worried I'd just end up very tired but still incapable of sleeping.

i had a pap smear done like a month ago and it came back abnormal...when i went back to get it retaken today...the doctor said she doesnt know what kind of abnormal cells they are yet...i was wondering what could it be?


note: the day of my last pap i started my period...would that cause an abnormal pap.....and i've also never had other paps come back abnormal

ime still in pain after 10 months, i broke my tibia and fibula, 3 months after IM nailing of the tibia i had to have a screw taken out, it still aint healed and i suffer alot of pain when walking.

ime thinking that the hospital aint looked after me proper and thinking of doing something about it but dont no what to do or who to see...

any help would be good thanks :)

My step mom was diagnosed with Bipolar/schizoprenia/manic depression over 20 years ago. She has recently experienced numerous "episodes" in the last two years and has been going on and off her medication. She has entered 2 different in-patient hospitals in the last two years each 4 times due to having an episode and being uncontrollable. Each time she has gone into each facility, her diagnosis has changed. After her last 72 hour hold in a facility that she has been in before, they told her that she is now psychotic.

Is it normal for a mentally ill patients' diagnosis to change like this?
Her changes have ranged from just being bipolar to being an alcoholic(i have no idea where the doctor came up w/ that one) to being depressed to having Depersonalization disorder.

I am eating 540 calories a day 5 days a week and doing an hour of weightlifting and an hour of cardio each night. When should i start to see results?

I want to get in shape for march break, by the way im eating 540 calories worth of chicken soup each day, which is 1 and 1/2 cups per meal (3) so im certainly not starving myself.

doc can`t see anything except a little redness, but it gets really hard to swallow, then its gone by morn. as my mother recently died doc thinks it could be anxiety, but would anxiety really cause pain on swallowing or could it be something worse!!!

Can anyone (teenager) relate to this sleeping problem?

I'm 16 and a semi-busy student in High School. My sleeping habbits have gotten rapidly this year in particular. I can never get to sleep at night and am always wanting to fall asleep in classes. I've tried everything and I can never get my sleep back to normal. I think I might have some sort of abxiety. On weekends and vacations I'm able to fall asleep fine at a decent time, but for some reason I think the thought of knowing that I have school the next day keeps me awake. I'm always thinking, "ok fall asleep...now" and glancing at the time. Why do I only have trouble sleeping during the school year on weekdays. Can I solve this problem on my own?

I am very young, and overweight. I am afraid that by the end of the school year, which is the beginning of June, I will look bad in a bathing suit. I need help! I'm depressed and I have been for a long time but recently for no reason it has gotten to the point where I just can't stand it anymore. I don't want to feel like this everyday. I am too embarassed to admit to anyone that I am depressed, even though my bf has said recently that I "need prozac or something". I just don't want to seem like I am looking for attention so I don't tell anyone.

I'm also really scared to go to the doctors. I don't want to tell him how I feel. And the meds sound scary..I've read how some people have gained weight or others feel numb. What should I do? I've been exercising and taking vitamins for 2 weeks and trying to eat decent.
