My Grandma was just diagnosed and I am trying to learn as much as possible about this. She has non small cell cancer on her brain and on her lower left lung. She is very scared as anyone would be. She called today and she said she smells fried brains??? I didn't know what to tell her because I didn't think that radiation actually burned the insides. Can someone answer this for me, what does radiation actually do? Do you feel it can you smell it, help???

The back of my mouth is swollen on both sides, i can see white spots where its swollen. (Look a bit like mouth ulcers). I can speak ok + havnt got a blocked nose, or cold. Its just agony when i try to swallow.

I know Vita K solution is supposed to remove dark circles from under eyes but does cocoa butter do anything to help? They're not puffy, just really dark, which makes no sense since I'm only 16 and I get enough sleep and water etc...

i am 13 and have had head lice twice before and whenever i think its gone its not. my mom thinks im paranoid but i can tell when the itching is normal or not. i get very easily embarrased and don't want 2 tell anyone except my parents. i've used mayo,dandriff shampoo, veggi oil, garlic powder, and chemical from the pharmacy. and after a few weeks it starts itching again, but i don't actually SEE the lice, i just see what i think are the lice eggs-which are small and white in the shape of a teardrop. and it doesn't itch all over just in a few places such as in the top right side or down my part.it feels like a little vibration, and dosn't stop. and also my whole head itches really bad after a wear a helment or sweat. I have sprayed the couches and my mattress and washed my sheets and clothes. is it lice or not??? HELP!!! thanx

A few times I have yawned and my jaw clicked and my mouth basically got stuck open...I had to somewhat smack it with my hand to get it back into its proper place so my mouth would close...it didn't particularly hurt when it went back into its proper place but it was rather uncomfortable and it seemed like I heard bone rubbing together.

Also, usually when I chew I hear it popping...it's not like an outloud popping noise, I can just barely hear it and I don't really feel it either but I don't think the popping I hear is normal. Also, when I open my mouth wide and then close it it doesn't close smoothly straight down..it seems like my jaw sort of shifts to the left.

Do I just need to be careful with how I move my jaw or could it progress into a more serious problem?

I heard that when your sleeping and you dream of say yourself falling off a cliff or falling out of a jet then u wake up suddenly, that that is your body sending adrenaline to your heart to get your heart rate higher, because its gone to slow. anybody know anything about this?

I've had this horrible pain in my right side, it has been there since last monday, and has only gotten worse. It started my lower right abdomen, but now my whole right side hurts. I've been to many doctors, and had a CT scan and a ultrasound, but my appendix, did not show up on it. They also did a ultrasound to see if I had an ovarian cyst but couldn't find anything. The doctors won't remove it because my white blood cell count seems fine, and it is not showing up on any diagnostic tests, but the pain is constant and has not gone away. They said it could 50% my appendix and put me on a few different antibiotics and gave me pain medicine... I had a fever a few days ago and was vomiting. That has gone away but the pain has not. It hurts really bad to walk up stairs and to laugh, and do many other things. They will prob. do laproscopic surgery on monday, but shouldn't they be worried it could burst before then?!
