I know some STDs can be spread by skin to skin contact, but I was under the impression that the exchange of fluids was necessary for the spread of other ones. Can anyone clarify for me?

....and I'm 38 years old, lol ! Does anyone know what this op is like for an adult? I know that having tonsils out when you're all grown up is worse than having it done as a child, just wondered if a grommet op is more unpleasant if you're older?

The Maury show today had mothers with babies who were away too fat for their age.. some 3 year olds at 150 lbs.. Some of the mothers ranted that they would keep feeding their 'babies' what ever they wanted.. my question is: Doesn;t this classify as being a danger to the welfare of the child, and shouldn't Child Protection Services step in ???

i have been asked pleanty of time to have sex with my boyfriends i have always turn them down and said i don't feel comfortable but now i feel that i am ready. 16 year old and on birth control and very responbible, but like i am afaird that having sex for my first time because i know it will hurt because sometime getting fingered even hurts and the sad thing is they only use 2. I know i am really tight. So what do i do to over come the fear of pain because that is the only thing that is holding me back. Thanks!

I don't want to go to a doctor unless it doesn't get better. It was bathroom products that contained bleach (yes I had the windows open) it was either that or mold.. either way what should I do? Is it better to drink something or not drink something? I heard it's good to inhale steam or is that actually worse? PLEASE give me links if you can - I can't find any

ok i am 15 and have been wondering this for a while. when i was about 4 or 5 i had problems using the restroom so the doctors stuck some tube or something up my vagina to help me use the bathroom (they actually thought my father was messing with me but he wasn't). all i can really remember was a feeling of discomfort and i cried a little. this went on for a little while (i can't really remember how long) i was wondering if my hymen was broken from that at all.
