because they are allowed to be. its ok for a man to be horny, but for a women to be horny a lot, it gives the feeling that maybe she is a slut or something, and of course in our world that is not accepted. let me tell u, i hear more women complaining about not getting enough than i do men.

It's in the wiring. Biologically, it's hormones, but if you're going to "be fruitful and multiply", then there needs to be motivation...hence, horniness.
