I have an ingrown toe nail caused by a fungal infection in my nails... does anyone have a home remedy that actaully works? and NO... I won't cut off my toes or feet! LOL

You can use , lemon juice (the fresh lemon and without any thing else) for the fungus. and for the inward you can clean it and put a cotton under it every day when it is a little bit separate from the nail bed then you can cut a wedge shape of it.
but the best thing is to see a doctor for it and they will just cut a part of nail.

Try getting regular pedicures after the fungus goes away (male or female it doesn't matter!). This is considered maintence and will prevent any further ingrown toenails. I had one once and had to have it surgically removed. I got (and still do) pedicures once a month since.

If it's really that bad you should consider seeing a doctor. There aren't any effective home remedies for these things.
It may require surgery.

Cut a small "V" in the middle of the toenail. The nail will start to grow inward a little bit, preventing it from growing into your foot!!!

I agree with the cut a small "v" piece of advice. Also... when the nail finally gets past the edge of your toe... always cut it STRAIGHT across. Cutting your toe nails too short and/or wearing tight shoes causes this problem

I have those all the time. Its the way we trim our nails that is the cause. You have to let the nail grow out of the groves or cut them very short. I do the latter.
