I went for an ultrasound last month. The doctor says I have a cyst on my ovary. He wants me to come back for another ultrasound next month. Has anyone ever had one of these? Should I be worried? What does it mean?

SHE IS 16 AND PREGNANT AND I DONT GET ANY MEDICAL BENNIFETS FOR HER OR MYSELF I DONT QUITE MAKE ENOUGH MMONEY TO GO THROUGH THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE THROUGH MY WORK NOR HAVE THEY OFFERED ANY BENNYS AND GOING THROUGH ACCESS OR GETTING ANY GOVERNMENT ASSITANCE IS SO HARD I BASICALLY WORK THE SAME HOURS THAT THEY DO. WICH MEANS I HAVE TO TAKE OFF WORK AND I CANT DO THAT WHEN I WAS AT THE DES OFFICE ONCE I REALLY NEADED THEIR HELP I DO NOT RECIEVE ANY CHILD SUPPORT AND IM A SINGLE MOM. YOU KNOW HOW MUCH EMERCENCY ASSIT. THEY GAVE ME $94.00 THAT GOT US IN AN APT RIGHT! nOT! SO WE WERE FORCE TO LIVE IN A MOTEL FOR 4 MO. LIVING OFF MY TAX RETURNS, WICH LATER CAME WHEN THERE WASNT AN APT. TO BE FOUND IN PHOENIX. IT WAS AWFUL SOME NIGHTS WE COULDNT EVEN FIND A ROOM . GOVERNMENT ASST. HA! THEY'D RATHER HELP THESE GIRLS WHO ROLL UP IN BRAND NEW VEHICLES AND THEY'RE STILL BLOWING DRY THERE NAILS THAY JUST HAD DONE AT THE SALON AND THAT ISNT NO LIE. SO ANY ADVISE?

Not that I would ever want a sex change, I am a totally happy heterosexual male, but I was just wondering how would a female get a sex change to a male??? I mean do the doctors just have spare penis's laying around that they just sew onto them lol?? I can kind of see how male can get changed to females but female to male just stumps me.

im a 30 y/ o woman with her tubes tied and i just went to the ob/gyn and found out i have an enlarged uterus and a tumor inside he said its a fibroid tumor , i had a pap test done on monday 8/28 and now im just waiting for the results , but i was wondering if anyone out there has had cancer of the uterus , and if any of these symptoms is related to it or is it the fibroid tumor ? i have lower back pain gonig down into my tailbone and into my pelvic area and down my legs , i have rela bad cramps , when i menstrate i have bad cramps and i pass clots , but in between that i have a milky discharge or sometimes its yellow mukusey color , my cramps have gotten worse since i went tothe doc on monday , anyways if there are any sugestions out there concerning my illness here or any illness with these symptoms , i would greatly appreaseated it , thank you

My Boyfriend dumped me last month and yesterday I found out I might be losing my Job because the company is downsizing . I know there's a saying that "god does not give any more than you can Handle" I wish he didn't have so much confidence in me" It reallly is getting to point that I fell like I'm going to crack . I have tried the pills and i find when i forget to take them i dead fro a week with cramps (which i normally dont' get at all).. i tried the Depo Provera and LOVE it. but my doctor wants me off it, because it is causing early osteoporosis (whatever that word is) "thinning of the bones".. and now i have recently tried the Evra Patch and HATE it.. i ripped the first patch off before the week was up and refuse to put on another.....
Now i am left with the Nuva ring, and the IUD.
I am scared to try the Nuva ring and don't really want to try it.. but on the other hand with the IUD my doctors have mixed concerns with it... my gynecologist thinks an IUD woudl eb a bad decision.. and i ahve jsut finished two years of tests for abnormal cells which we think is fine. theres nothing there..... and i'm nto in a married relationship. so she is concerned aobtu the risk of getting an infection while i have the IUD in place... wehreas my family doctor think the IUD is my best option.

For the last three days now i have been getting hiccups, just in the morning. I ushally never get hiccups but these ones are really painful and they ushally dont go away for about an hour. Also, i have been not feeling good.

I'm needing to get a crown; but I can't afford it. My insurance will cover half which will come out to me paying about $350 out of my pocket. Which really isn't that bad I guess, but I had my wisdom teeth extracted in January and so all of my insurance for dental is completly used up. My dentist told me I needed to get it as soon as possible before it ends up needing a root canal. I guess my question is... is there anything I can do to help prevent it from getting worse? I won't be able to get it done until after January of next year because of insurance. I try to floss everyday and I do brush at least 2-3 times a day. Is there anything else?

Oh and also - if it does end up needing a root canal will they also have to do the crown afterwards?

Eventually I plan on atleast getting my Master's and maybe even my Phd down the road but for right now I am going to start off at a local community college until my fiance finishes up his degree in another 2-3 years and we can get settled in where ever he can find a job, right now I am working as a Nursing Assistant for mentally disabled individuals and would like to continue doing so in a school type setting until I can go back for my bachelors degree but I just wanted to know what type of jobs are availble for someone with an associates degree?

I've been fasting for a week now and excercising for 30 minutes a day and walking for an hour and a half each day and drinking lots and lots of water. I've been taking a vitamin and a potassium pill. I've lost 13 pounds and I'm thinking of continueing on with it for maybe another week or two. I know this isn't exatcly healthy, but what is a reasonable amount of weight I can expect to lose during this time?

my dad is 65 and has had a st jude mechanicalvalve placed about 15 years ago never had a heart attack or stroke or anything else he had a st jude put in because he had rumatic fever at a young age and this was a result of it he is on coumadin and a cholesterol med and a vitamin because he has a calcium buildup in his legg in june he went for a stress test and a echocardiogram drs said everything is fine but they cant get his pressure down hes going for alot of blood work tomorrow my question is and i dont want to sound stupid could he have kidney failure or would he know he eats like a horse and works 2 jobs but he does smoke i have been trying to get him to stop but its not working any advice i would appreciate thanks
