I like a bowl of oatmeal, prior to working out. However, if you're looking to burn more body-fat, exercise on an empty stomach. I recently started using A.C.T. too. WOW! The best energy drink I've ever had.

Tablespoonful or two of honey will give you good boost in energy. It didn't have any fatigue downside like sugar.

pastas, if you have to run a marathon for instance, eat pasta the night before, it will pump you up in the morning and get you ready to go
