There are many reasons why you might be feeling tired all of the time. If the doctors have done tests, and ruled out a medical/physical cause, perhaps you are depressed? Symptoms of depression include:

* Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" mood
* Feelings of hopelessness, pessimism
* Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness
* Loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies and activities that were once enjoyed, including sex
* Decreased energy, fatigue, being "slowed down"
* Difficulty concentrating, remembering, making decisions
* Insomnia, early-morning awakening, or oversleeping
* Appetite and/or weight loss or overeating and weight gain
* Thoughts of death or suicide; suicide attempts
* Restlessness, irritability
* Persistent physical symptoms that do not respond to treatment, such as headaches, digestive disorders, and chronic pain

If you think you might be depressed, I would recommend consulting with a therapist. Hope you have lots of support. Good luck!

Try larger amounts of C vitamin (3000-5000 mg) for 3 days (but distribute the dose in 6-10 times of smaller amounts), E vitamin the standard dose 400 IE and drink 1-2 cups of green tea. Also, try to do something that will make relevance in your life. Something with not an easy goal, but worth of doing, and make you fulfilled day by day.

20 years ago my mom got really sick. She had no energy and just didnt feel well. She worked full time as well as raising 3 kids. She went to the Dr and the Dr told her to "go home and think happy thoughts". My mom was embarrassed. Obviously, the Dr didnt think anything was wrong with her. So she went home and thought happy thoughts until one morning she couldnt get out of bed to go to work. My brothers found her curled up in bed, shivering and pretty much incoherent. They called my dad at work and he said take her to the ER. My brother's bundled her up in 2 sleeping bags and put her in the back of my brother's stationwagon and got her to the hospital.
She came within 24 hours of dying of something called Addison's Disease. It was a miracle that the Drs in the ER actually tested for it, basically a last ditch effort of trying to figure out what the problem was. She is fine now, but has to take medicine for the rest of her life. Essentially her adrenal gland no longer functions normally.
Some other symptoms she had were her skin darkening, especially around joints and loss of body hair such as on her legs and pubic area, as well as extreme lethargy that came on slowly over a period of months.
This is not a disease that is normally screened for.
If you are always tired but are eating and sleeping in a normal manner, you need to keep going to the Dr until you find one who is willing to do more indepth tests on you outside of the "normal" ones.
If you dont want to spend the $$ to figure out whats wrong, then first change your diet and lifestyle, but if that doesnt help you probably need to insist that your Dr's do more tests. There are also thyroid conditions that most Dr's dont test for because they are "rare", they only test for the more common types of problems.

Something else worth thinking about is eyestrain. I know that if I spend alot of time reading, it makes my eyes so tired that I feel like I've not had any sleep for weeks. Do you spend alot of time on the computer? Reading? Just some more thoughts.

Good luck and Goddess bless!

I felt just the same not so long ago. I had blood tests which came back clear. Are you getting enough sleep? Or too much sleep which can also make you tired. Check your diet, and you're not eating too many dead carbohydrates... and start to take vitamin B which helps your body with its energy levels. x

I'm guessing you meant "tired"? Stress?? Maybe you're working too hard and not taking enough "me" time...could be many different things, but at least your medical tests are okay..

Try to take a little time out everyday for you..for instance, at the end of an especially long hard day I sit on my back porch and drink a glass of wine...

Yeast infection. I bet they didn't
check for that, did they?
Do you crave sugar and doughy
stuff?(cake,etc)

Start eating a daily diet of
meat and vegetables and l
eave everything white out
of it. That will starve the
yeast.

I bet you will feel better.
If you can get some olive
leaf extract (capsules)or
Caprylic acid (tablets) at
the natural food shelf,
you can kill off the yeast
that is releasing the poison
that is making you tired.
Good luck.

Actually there is a proper diagnosis for this and it is called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Most doctors refuse to diagnosis it and rather reccommend you to more exercise and/or try more hours of sleep during the night rather than a nap during the day

Its probably just fatigue brought about by bad diet and lack of exercise. I had the same sort of thing in my first yr of uni. Ate loads of bad food and didnt do a lot apart from drinking a partyin. Just made me feel very lethargic and tired all the time.

Could be your diet. Try eating more fruit and veg and drink plenty of water. You also need to take a small amount of exercise each day, nothing too taxing, just a short walk. I hope you are feeling better soon.
