Our local quilt guild would like to have a web page or blog to get the word out about our quilt shows, club meetings, etc. We aren't sure where to start. Any advice on what we should do? We are not very computer savy, but can do basic things and are willing to learn.

My coin was just sent to Quality control at NGC. Is this a bad thing, ie the coin is cleaned? Or does it simply happen to every coin certified at NGC? Does this mean it has a shot at a star designation?

I am a teenager, just starting on quilting, and looking for some easy but good-looking patterns, preferably without triangles! The pieces cannot be too large because I have a large selection of fabric but about 1/8 yd. of each. Is there a free pattern online that I can use?

I'm trying to make a miniskirt, but first I need to learn how to sew. Can someone find me a site, or type out different stiches and I could try to learn them. Preferably stiches that would stitch jean together. Also explain what kinds of threads to use. thanks a million!

I'd like to use the fabric found at the link below to make a shirt dress. Solid black cuffs and collar. Do you think it would be too much plaid?

I need to buy a gold torque bangle and get it engraved on the inside. All the ones I have seen are round as opposed to being flat inside. I guess the ones that are flat inside are better for engraving but can the curved ones be engraved successfully?

I have the Crown Book Store, but I cannot find the picture and paint list that came with it. I have been searching the internet for 2 days, trying to find a picture of it. It was manufactured by California Creations, but is not on their site. Maybe retired? Copyright is 04. There is a book store in their catalog, but it is not the one I have.

Thanks!

I'm trying to figure out what paper is best for doing lasting papercraft models. I figure a heavier paper stock than normal copy paper is best, but too heavy and you won't be able to fold it. Anyone have any suggestions?
