Hi there,

I am trying to create a 'tunnerl' from some cardboard. I have rolled it round so the 2 edges meet each other, but I am having trouble finding a method of joining the 2 edges and they keep 'pingin' away from each other with just normal sticky tape.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have everything ready to start quilting, but I am unsure if it matters where I start. Should I start in the middle and work my way out, or start with the straight lines across or up and down?
Should I start from the same side every time or alternate sides? I made sure it is pinned tightly and I have a walking foot. Is there anything else I should be doing? This is a lap quilt so it isn't that big. Any help would be wonderful!! Thanks

At my office we throw away a lot of white paper that has been printed on one side. Sometimes we shred it and it gets recycled. Are there any other ways to use this paper instead of shredding it?

I am trying to get into quilt making and am a little confused.
When you buy fabric by the yard, I know the length is 3 feet (for one yard), but is the width also 3 feet? I bought some muslin yesterday and I asked for a a yard of it, but the width was 45''
Is it all a standard width or does the particular fabric state what the width is on the lable?

barber quarter. It has no mint on it. What does this mean? Is this coin worth anything? It is not in the best shape but the date and every thing on it is readable.

I have a large collection of snowmen figurines, varying in size from 4" to 12"+.

I have no idea how to organize them. I would like them to be displayed in a nice, orderly fashion.
Somehow, just displaying them in a curio cabinet of some kind does not appeal to me. Feels and seems too messy.

Any ideas? Any ideas with photos would be awesome.

Thanks.

There was a larger ring on the bottom with each ring going up becoming smaller till only 1 ball was on top. I have forgotten how to make it and my mother is gone so she can't tell me what I need to know. It was extremely cute and a good project for children to make.

Okay so i have all my supplies, except dye. i bought pre-camoflauged burlap, but it is only on one side. i was just planning on spray painting tiger stripes style on the no camo side and just simply skipping the dye. problem is, even though it is camo, burlap is all colored like other burlap, so even underneath the camo, i think alot of that burlap color is going to show. should i just dye it, spray paint it when its finished..... i dunno, i need suggestions please.
