Okay, so i worked on a crocheted pony for a week..and now that it's finished i can NOT find the eyes i'm supposed to use on it. I'm looking for Shank type sew on button eyes. (shank...button that has the little hook type thingy on the back that you put the thread thru, instead of going thru the button)

PLEASE help me find these!!! i've checked michaels.com, wal-mart. and joanns.com
if ANYONE knows where i can find these on line i would be SOOO greatful, i've got to get the lil guy in the mail by next weeks so it will make it to my nephew in switzerland by xmas!! thanks!!!

If you don't find them, you could buy plain white baby buttons and paint the eyes on.

But if your nephew is a baby, stick to embroidered eyes. Make a little white french knot and then put a couple of black stitches over it.

Try meiselwoodhobby.com. They have eyes, I'm not sure about yours.
