Hey there! There is an awesome site called www.quilterscache.com. If you go to the site click on the drop down menu and go to quilt blocks galore- free quilt block patterns. There are hundreds of traditional pieced blocks and paper pieced patterns as well. With each pattern there are step by step directions as well as pictures of projects that people have completed using the pattern. Check it out. Hope it helps.

http://www.freepatterns.com select quilting and see all the freebies. (They will have you "join". You can opt to get email from a couple of craft suppliers but you do not have to. Once you join, you can download any pattern from any of the many catagories. you will find ideas in the other catagories as well.) Have fun!
