I agree with kacky. It also depends on the candle warmer. A candle warmer usually has to melt the whole thing before giving a scent throw whereas a lit candle only has to get a melt pool before it starts giving a scent throw. Then you have the candle warmer lamps and they release scent within minutes of starting to melt. So it really depends on more factors. You can view warmers at www.butterflycandles.net they have both the traditional warmers and the lamps.

sweetie, the object of a science project is to learn something. Do a search on google for candle melt rates, and compare wick candle sites to candle warmer melt sites. Wherever the melt time is mentioned, that's material you can use for your project. It's very time consuming, but better you should do it than us.
