Old postage stamps unused and some a gold postage stamp. I need to find a collector for them.

If you just want to give them away (if they are not worth enough to sell them for instance) ask around in the area.
Almost everybody knows someone who knows someone collecting stamps.

If you are not sure about the worth of the stamps, take them to one of the little shops selling stamps.
You might not want to sell them for the price they name, as they will pay less than the worth, because they need to be able to make a profit, when selling, to pay for their shop and their own wages.

Ebay
or advertise in the trading post (if you have one in your state/country) it is a newspaper where people sell anything, kinda like ebay but you don't bid, you advertise and have a fixed price or nearest offer.

you should sell them on ebay. you can be the one to set the price range and pick the highest bidder. good luck. I have a sizeable collection myself, and i have no idea what to do. i hope that you can find some sense in this.
