I have a hard time learning from pictures..any ideas?

here are a bunch of beanie or hat patterns that you can take a look at and see which one you like.

most of these patterns are easy just follow the instruction and youll have no problem, if you get stuck just ask.

when you say beenie do you mean the little bears?

because if so;
for the stomach maybe you can
sew it like normal but just sew it together
and leave a hole
to fill it in with any little beads or anything
and when your done,
sew it shut

you can knit the straight pieces then stitch them together to form the hat shape.
