I bought my kids some pants and they are like a size too big, but they could wear them if I could just sew some belt loops on to the pants. Where can I buy belt loops? And are they called belt loops?

I've been watching project runway and i want to start making clothes (for me). I have no experience whatsoever about making clothes, patterns, etc. But I took a fashion design class and I make excellent sketches. I'm in high school and when I was in middle school, I wasn't very good in making pajamas or a tshirt. So should I buy a sewing machine and start to learn by myself? or is there any other options?

I plan on making treat mugs for Christmas this year. I found plain white soup mugs, which are perfect. I would like to paint some snowflakes or another Christmas type theme on them. What type of paint do I use and what can I do to seal the paint so when the person puts them in the microwave or dishwasher the paint does not come off? I will most likely go to the local craft store. . .which is Michael's?

I knit all the time, but I do things mostly for adults.
I don't have kids, never have had kids, and while my neices were young, I was in the USAF spending most of my time far from the girls, so Uncle Chris missed a lot of time when his girls were young. I have no idea how long to make a scarf for a 4 year-old girl.

I figure that 4 inches wide is good, but how long should I make it? No, I can't just see how tall she is, because #1, it's for some friends of mine who live in Germany now, #2, even if the child father or mother told me how tall she was, it wouldn't do me any good because I have zero fashion sense and wouldn't know how long to make it because I don't know what 4 year-old girls like for a scarf length, nor have any idea what is practical.

I would appreciate any ideas on how long to make it. The scarf is being made with size 8 needles, using Red Heart Supersaver yarn in the color pattern Ocean. I intend to make fringe 3-4 inches long.

I was browsing the web the other day and i saw this fantastic haunted house made from 3 kleenex boxes with some cute little ghosts inside. I should have added it to my fav's but forgot. Does anyone know where i can find it again. And its not the one from crayola. Its got real looking shutters and is made from 2 rectangular and one small square box of Kleenex with orange tissues inside plus the little ghosts....Please help..halloween is near!

Soon i will be taking some guitar lessons. My whole life i grew up on Rock/Metal and i've wanted to learn the guitar. I am actually a very big Yngwie Malmsteen fan and while i'm sure i may not be able to master the guitar like he has i would definitely love to play along those lines.

My question is...are there any specific electric guitars that would be ideal for a beginner like myself? are there only specific guitars that can get a specific sound?
I was looking at the Ibanez website and i saw some great guitars based on design alone.

My seoncd question: Somewhere down the line i know i'm going to want to customize my guitar as far as paint or maybe a decal of some sort...would anyone know where i can find this?

i am designing this thing for an art project and the problem is i dont know what it is called and what to get to make it. ive seen this thing in my Magic the Gathering card game. its a rectangular piece of plastic with a circular piece of plastic that that has numbers to keep up with the points in the game. what is that type of thing used that uses two pieces of material and they can turn like the MTG point keeper thing and what do i get to make it?

I'm making my own wedding invitations...I'm a scrapaholic and I thought it would be fun. The following link has a picture of what I want.

I have four silver coins in all.

1. it says estados unidos mexicanos and juegos de la xix olimpiada mexico 1968 it's 25 pesos. it has a drogon on one side and this indian like guy on the other
2. it says estados unidos mexicanos Mo 1953. it has a dragon on one side and a head that says hildago on the other
3. says estados unidos mexicanos with a large dragon on one side and a guy on the other. it is ten pesos and from the yeat 1978
4. it says casa de moneda de mexico 1980 and una onza troy deplata pura. it has a picture of a scale on one side and i think a bell and the other
