Assuming this is still in mint condition; your coin could be $10 for a filled "S" or $125 for a clear "S". That's what redbook says anyway but it's prices are usually a bit high.

Well if you are sure it is a type 2, clear S then dealer bid is around $85. I have however seen them for sale for as low as $75 in either Numismatic News or Coin World in the past 6 months. Of course that was from ads of large dealers. I am also not so sure where the type 2 coins fit in with collectors. I have a mint state and proofs of all the Anthony dollars but have no interest in the type II even though I can afford to buy them. My local dealer does not have any in stock. Might be a good idea to hold on to it, for It may be a sleeper and go crazy at some point.

Type II SBAs are proofs with a clear S mint mark. It's worth $125 and up. Type I SBAs have 'filled' S mint mark, and are worth $12 in high mint state, and $10 and up for proofs.

The mint mark means that it's a proof and as long as it has never been touched by human hands, it can be worth around $100.00.
