I have to help my child with a Halloween costume. I have to glue sequins on a shirt in a pattern. I have fabric glue that I bought. Can I just put the glue on the design and then sprinkle them on or do I have to place each one individually?

This Halloween, we are dressing my kid up as a dragon, so i thought it would be cool to be a Knight and my wife will be Princess. i've decided to make everything myself, and i have everything except a helmet. Do you know of any sites or do you have templates that show how to make a knight's helmet out of homemade material? (im looking to make something from foam board) or even better, do you know where i can find one, for a few bucks?

I have skeins and skeins of yarn - seemingly everywhere in my house! :)

I just moved and it seems like every box I start to unpack has a skein or two in it. I'm looking for ideas on how to organize and store the yarns. I thought about a "shoe caddy" the type that looks like a bookshelf. I have a plastic 4 drawer thing that has some yarn in it - but the top seems to bend and then I can't get the drawers out easily.

Does anyone have any fairly inexpensive ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I have been trying to bend spoons for the past few days because it seems really interesting and fun to do. But I am having trouble. They say that you are supposed to channel energy into the spoon and it will start to feel soft and bend easily. I close my eyes and try to imagine energy flowing through me into the spoon, and when I attempt to bend, it does not work.It is also said that you can't think about bending the spoon while actually doing it, but I find this hard to do because I am aware that everything I do comes from trying to bend the spoon. Does anyone know any good websites that can explain the process thoroughly?

I've got lots of shells collected from the beach, and would like to make earrings, necklaces, and mobiles with them. Is there a tool that craft people/jewellry makers use to make small holes? If so, can I get one?

I am looking for this fabric. It's a dog toile. I found a link to a picture...and have seen this fabric before in a particular color. Can anyone tell me where I can find this fabric in other colors? This appears to be black/white. But I'm using it for a baby girl bedding and would like something other than blue or black. Thanks!

I have recently purchased some iron on rhinstone transfers to decorate some of my shirts. I have been centering them on the shirt just by eye balling them using the shirt tag as a guide but I figure there has to be an easier way. I am using these iron ons to make shirts for friends so I have several to do. Is there something that I can purchase at a craft store to lay on the shirt to help me find the center? Any help would be appreciated.

It is a gold colored $1 coin, statue of liberty on one side and John Adams on the other. Says John Adams 2nd president 1797-1801. I don't expect it to be valuable, but I've never seen one and wanted to make sure before I spend it.

My late grandmother did a lot of sewing. Her house is filled with bolts of fabric of all sorts, along with sewing notions, buttons, spools of thread, etc. I have found several charities that accept donations of cotton fabric, but I don't know what to do with the synthetic fabrics -- e.g. polyester. Is there any charity that might be interested in these? Or can polyester fabric be recycled? I don't want to just dump it in a landfill -- so unecological! Thanks!
