I have to help my child with a Halloween costume. I have to glue sequins on a shirt in a pattern. I have fabric glue that I bought. Can I just put the glue on the design and then sprinkle them on or do I have to place each one individually?

I would recommend laying them on indavidually, because if you don't they can get all messy, and if you don't get a sequin in every little piece of glue, your child will become a glueball and stick to everything that touches that one spot! LOL! Believe it or not, glueing one by one will save you money, effort and time, because if you lay them down all at one time, you will have to do it a lot more than once trust me i've been in your shoes.

To me, this is similar to hearing the question "What's the best way to glue sequins to my cat?" That's a non-standard application. Sequins are intended to be sewn

The "hurry" method that's secure is to thread them onto the thread still on a spool, all of them and then begin chain-stitching the thread with one sequin after each chain. The resulting strand can be more-conveniently tacked into position or secured with a flexible fabric glue (which adheres to the holding thread).

Most fabric glues can't depended upon to secure individual sequins because sequins aren't porous.

It depends how you want it to look. Sprinkled on, it will give kind of a fish scale effect. If they don't stick, you may have to try beading glue instead, or sew them on.
