What materials could I use to make a sturdy candy corn costume? Has anyone ever tried making one?

You could use any fabric. Make a pointy hat of white material with iron-on interfacing to make it stiff, then buy a white t-shirt and sew yellow and orange sections to the bottom of it. Make a hem and run some beading wire from the craft shop through it so it will stick out, or sew a hula hoop into the hem.

I haven't actually made a candy corn costume, but last year myself and 8 other people were crayons made out of felt. You could use this idea for the candy corn costume. For the point of the crayon we used a large party hat and a styrofoam ring and wrapped them in felt. It was actually quite simple, if you have an email address I would be happy to pass along the pictures so you could actually see the idea. Great idea and good luck!!

hmm well use somthing thick and then put the cloth in the shape then start sewing the other side but dont finish and stuff it with cotton and then finish and there you are a candy corn costum
