Where is a good store (or online) to get cheap felting wool and needles? And where are there free project ideas and patterns online? I'm not talking about knitting and then wetting. I'm talking about with wool and making animals and other 3-D figures.

All right, so I'm making a pouch. I have to sew two layers of plastic-type stuff to a layer of plain fabric. The first time I tried, it got all messed up. It's probably the tension. I have a Brother machine, from walmart. Anyone know what tension would be good to use?

It's a tea cup and saucer. It's very light weight, and translucent. There are markings on the outside bottom, and the inside bottom looks blank, until you hold it up to the light. Here you find the face of an oriental woman.

I asked this question earlier with different phrasing, received two helpful replies (both excellent, in fact) and, this being my first time to use Yahoo Questions, while attempting to rate the answers inadvertently gave the impression that the matter is resolved. I am developing an educationsl project that requires small and medium sized precut card coated with a type of flock or velour which will act like a flannelboard. A surface with stronger properties of attraction than regular felt, that will hold applied felt shapes firmly without additional adhesive or velcro.

I don't remember the name of the quilt pattern, and I also don't know which quilt magazine it was in but I think it was about a year ago or a little less I saw a quilt magazine with a quilt pattern in it. The quilt block is hard to describe, but it was an appliqued 'ladies torso' sort of thing, almost like a strapless bodice or something and there was no ladies body, just the torso and it was embellished with rick rack, beads, etc. Does anyone know where I can find this pattern? Thank you!

I have an old two-dollar bill from 1963. What makes this interesting is the seal and serial number are printed in red ink instead of green. Can someone explain to me what this means, and is it worth anything? It's in pretty decent shape. Thanks!
