Start with two of the strings and cross them over each other to form a cross. Then take the string from the bottom and bring it to the opposite side forming a loop. Then take the other string and bring that one over the opposite way forming another loop. You now have two loops started. Now take the string that has yet to be touched and bring it over the top of the first loop, but make it go under the second loop. Then take the opposite string and bring that one over, also going under the second loop. This will create the base of the boxstitch and from there just keep going. Be sure to keep it pulled tight! Hope this helps!

Hi, That particular use is braiding but there are lots of uses for plastic tubing. Once you master the braids you can learn to weave the strands of plastic to make bags, lampshade bases, coasters etc. Tubing can be bought in different sizes; 5ml, 10ml etc. Have a go at something different, you'll get hooked.

What i can suggest 4 u to do is to go to boondoggleman.com,they have pictures and instructions in COLOR!They also teach you more stiches too
