I don't remember the name of the quilt pattern, and I also don't know which quilt magazine it was in but I think it was about a year ago or a little less I saw a quilt magazine with a quilt pattern in it. The quilt block is hard to describe, but it was an appliqued 'ladies torso' sort of thing, almost like a strapless bodice or something and there was no ladies body, just the torso and it was embellished with rick rack, beads, etc. Does anyone know where I can find this pattern? Thank you!

I was hoping to find in online. It is just hard to search for it when I don't know the name of the pattern and there are SO many sites out there to search!

There is an applique pattern called "Bare Necessities" that has what I think you are looking for. It is made by Custom Creations in LaVerne CA phone # 909-596-7308. I don't know if they have a web site. You might do a search for "Bare Necessities" and see if you can find it that way.

What you're looking for is an "applique pattern" for use on a quilt block, right?... not a "quilt pattern."

Your best bet might be to go to the online sites of the quilt magazines you usually see, then check their "back issues" or achives. Once you find the magazine, you can order a back issue or at least know if there is a name for the applique or its creator, e.g., that you can then look up on the web.

If not, you should be able to draw or copy your own torso or bodice or however much was included in the applique... try some of these:

Good luck,
