They're not minted, and I want to sell them, but I don't know where to start... I'm not even sure about their worth. I've done research on coin collecting sites, but things are still confusing (the grade).

i want to make a homemade "card" (thinking a one page 8" by 11" paper) for my cousins wedding. i really want to use pressed flowers/leaves in it, but i also want to write on it. what is the best way to use pressed flowers and also have a piece of see-though-ish paper over them so i can write on? im also thinking of pasting drawings and magazine clipping into a sort of collage but i want natural aspects in it as well. sorry if this questions written poorly but you get my drift. any suggestions?

From what I've heard, it's normal to want to keep somethings hidden from my parents so at the same time, it would be natural to want to make these things VERY well hidden from anybody else and make it seem as normal as possible. With that being said, I was wondering if anybody had any websites or ideas of their own for small compartments that I could set up. I have a lot of free time on my hands, so the time needed to make it or set it up isn't really a factor. I just want to make sure what I have hidden will stay that way until I choose. I recently bought a book to collect the fifty state quarters and it has fifty slots for states and an extra six blanks slots outside of the map. Are there six other quarter designs? Or are they just for extra use in case?

All I want to do is embroider my granddaughters names on sweatshirts etc. When I read the specs on these machines they all have programmed disks. Can I choose letters and create their names with the Brother SE-270D? Is there a better machine? I know very little about embroidery but I do sew. I need a new machine but I'm confused as to what these embroidery machines do or don't do. How exactly would I achieve what I want to do - what are the steps to create the name Elizabeth for instance?

I have TONS of old magazines at my house. They take up a lot of space, and I'll never read them again. I want to do something fun or creative with them, instead of just throwing them away. Any ideas?

I was thinking maybe have a "Magazine Drive" at my work (I work at a large hospital), and have people bring in all their old magazines and then take them to get recycled...

Hi Gang - I need a way to stiffen ribbon, but I want it not to move after I'm done!

I've used a dozen different liquid stiffeners and they just don't get it as hard as I like. Some do work well, but they are thick like Elmer's Glue and leave the ribbon dull, without the bright color that existed before. Also, most are white and leave white flakes on the ribbon.

Any suggestions? I need something that dries clear (can also dry with a bit of a sheen), but not dullen or change the color of the fabric.

Would love any suggestions or help!

I haven't tried yet, but I know people make cutesy charms by using Sculpey clay, baking, painting and glazing them. and I'm sure you could just find chains for necklaces at a craft store like Michaels or Johanns
but has anyone ever tried?
and did they even turn out looking good?

and don't just answer with "no i haven't"! :]

For school im part of a freshman welcoming commitie and we have this day when we introduce them to the school and havea lot of games and stuff. well for that day we are supposed to come up with costumes for the group like all in one theme. Does anyone have any ideas that would be easy to create that do not take too much time or money. im not a very crafty person but i still want them to look good :)

I looking for this thing you can buy its a magic trick. You may have seen it before i dont know how it works but i want it and i dont know the name of it. If youve seen someone do it usually there like making a regular deck of cards card and making it float imbetween your hands but thats not all you can also do it with pencils and other small items. If you know what the name is or where i can buy one please tell me it looks kickass i want one.

ok i've been using the cricut maciene for a while now and i'm having trouble finding a good type of glue or tape to use. right now i'm trying scotch scrapbooker's glue with two way applicator. it's working ok but i'm not sure if i'm happy with it.
