There are a few places where you can buy various kinds of face molds for "clay" but there are also a lot of materials you can use to make the face molds yourself \, including polymer clay.
A two-part silicone molding material can be used to give you a flexible mold though if you have undercuts on the face you want to make the mold from. I've made many-many molds of faces though just with polymer clay and haven't really needed silicone yet (though I do have some when needed).

Two-part silicone putties are a lot more expensive than polymer clay though, but they can give even a bit more detail in the mold than polymer can.

Rather than list the brands of silicone putty and where you can find them, just check out this page at my website which has all that info, plus lots of info on how to make molds from polymer clay and other materials too, and how to find or create faces to make your own molds from:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/molds.htm
(... click on "2-Pt Silicone Putties" and/or on "Stiff Polymer Clay Molds"...)

Also, if you want to read some info about making clay faces with molds, then "distorting" each raw cast after removing it from the mold but before baking it, to change the face in various ways or just change the expression, check out this page too:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/heads_masks.htm
(... click on "Distorting," which is under "Molds"...)

P.S. Careful ... making molds is extremely addictive!

I could advise mighty mildew Putty or Sculpey mould Maker, which that you simply could be ready to get with approximately $20 and $12 for the Sculpey to make your possess molds. That you could be ready to additionally acquire molds which may also be already made on Etsy, a craft store, etc.. If you are now not inclined to buy a mildew or mildew maker, it is okay to make a few with polymer clay. Roll your polymer clay correct right into a ball and push down with some thing you're creating a mould of. Which you'll excellent the details of the mildew with a needle instrument or each and every different item that'll paintings. After your mildew is how you want it, bake it, following the recommendations at the packaging of your polymer clay. Before you use the mold, grime the within of the mold with corn starch or flour to avert getting your clay caught. Press on your clay into the mildew, take it out, and push aside the corn starch or whatever you used with any form of delicate brush or together with your hands lightly. Good luck :)

This site will tell you how to make silicone molds of the clay faces you created.

I'll tell you how I make molds of my people's faces. I first design the face I like, then I bake it in the oven to harden it. I then take a lump of clay scraps and form It into a ball, then flatten it somewhat. I then take the hardened face and lightly dust it with some powder ( blow off excess ) Then I push the face into the slightly flattened ball of scrap clay. Slowly, and carefully remove the hardened head. Now take the mold you've created and bake that in the oven until it's hard. Now you should be able to reproduce the original face many times over using the mold you just created.

If I were you, I would either go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels Craft Store and ask around. Or go on there websites which are hobbylobby.com and michaelscraftstore.com. Those are the 2 stores that I would look for what you are looking for. They have all crafty things there, and thats pretty much it. And there stores are pretty big so they must have something like what you are looking for!
