From what I've heard, it's normal to want to keep somethings hidden from my parents so at the same time, it would be natural to want to make these things VERY well hidden from anybody else and make it seem as normal as possible. With that being said, I was wondering if anybody had any websites or ideas of their own for small compartments that I could set up. I have a lot of free time on my hands, so the time needed to make it or set it up isn't really a factor. I just want to make sure what I have hidden will stay that way until I choose. Thanks in advance!

No, it's nothing illegal in the least bit. I just hate it when people can snoop openly around in my things.

I'm curious why you think you need to keep something hidden from your parents. Is this something that is illegal?

The best way to hide something, is to hide it in plain site. Make it look as if it belongs in plain site, not obviously in the wrong place. You don't want to draw attention to it.

When we moved into our house, we found some interesting things hidden in the ceiling of our basement.

The card game gone wrong symbolizes getting into something more dangerous than you ever could have imagined. You always felt bad vibes, but ignored them. By running up a hill, it's getting harder and harder to get out of this situation, but you feel still in control. Instead of controlling this situation, you hide. You still feel in danger, though. It was probably so realistic because it it is prominent in your waking life.

It is, but I still use the tradtional under the dresser or bed style. I've also hid things in books without ruining them. The other thing I use is a hollow box shaped picture frame. You have to pry the bottom out to put in pictures and with pictures in it you can't see in. If you want to hide something small, maybe under the couch?

I agree with anniebammy. Hide it in plain site. If you hide it too well, you might forget where you hid it. I'm still hunting for some jewelry I hid before we went on vacation. I'll get back to you later with my hidden idea. It's a really good one. I'm still looking.

the best hidden compartments are the ones made into everyday objects...like cutting out inside of a book...or something like a bed post...making a small hole drilling it out then replaceing it with a plug that blends in.....use your imagination..sky is the limit..
