These are bills from before1776 (and one from May '76). They are beautiful and fascinating. I would like to mount them on a wall so that my friends can enjoy them too- keeping them in a book in a safe is such a waste!

Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks!

I bought a fairly simple Mccalls pattern. I have never made a dress before but am pretty crafty in other areas (macreme, nitting, looming, small sewing projects like bags and stuff). Any advice/tips.

I bought a Kenmore sewing machine last year and no instructions came with it. Grant it, I know how to sew but I don't know how to use the buttonhole attachment. It's different from the others buttonhole attachment from other brands. If you know how to use the flat buttonhole attachement - please give me instructions on how to use it - or how can I get help.

I am making a bunch of shorts for girls aged 12 to 17 (for Church camp). A friend gave me yards and yards of drawstring elastic (it's like regular elastic - about 1 1/4 inches wide - except it has a drawstring cord running through it, which can be pulled out through the threads). I tried making a regular casing, threading it through, sewing the ends together, then popping a stitch at the front waistband seam and pulling the drawstring through that, and that seemed to work OK. But I was hoping there is someone out there who really knows how it's supposed to be used. The drawstring is not centered on the elastic. I put the fatter side up (toward the belly button) and the skinnier side down (toward the crotch), but I don't know if that's right. I have lots more shorts to go, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I love to draw, paint, and create. I don't like the "cutesy grandma" crafts like needlepoint and crochet. I like to be unique and allow myself to take whatever it is that I'm doing and turn it into my own thing. I've done a lot of mosaics and jewelry, and now I'm bored with it. Any help?

For a large portion of my nineteen years, I've been constantly told that I exist only "in my head." Such comments never bothered me before; I was perfectly content in my passion (narrative writing/dissertation) and chosen hobbies (reading, researching, experimenting in the natural sciences, etc.). Now, however, that criticism is starting to work its way beyond my erected defenses because slowly I'm realizing that there is some merit to the scrutiny.

Truthfully, the only physical activity that I engage in is Chinese Wushu and even then it's a component to a more abstract interest (energy manipulation for use with ceremonial magick). But I'm willing to expand that single-item list. I want to involve myself in more hobbies that force me to use my flesh and musculature, but I don't want those hobbies to be run of the mill.

Football...basketball...baseball...sports in general--they hold no interest with me. I need alternative hobbies that I can pursue. That's why I've come you all.

For a silent auction basket, my mom needs to think of a unique, creative title. It is full of sports stuff like Giants and As baseball tickets, beers, sports blanket, sports giftcard, stuff like that. The title has to sound desirable, so nothing cheesy, please. Thanks!

I don't want to spend the large sum of money boutiques and trendy designers charge for ROUND bumpers. I'm excited to make my own, but I cannot find directions or patterns for round bumpers.

Where can I find them online, or even at the store?

Something besides bowling or skating...costs has to be under $20. Any cool fun restaurants or activities. This is for Friday's after 7:00 p.m. In Austin, Round Rock, Pfulgerville or surrounding areas.
