I am thirteen and (as you could guess) I don't have any money. I am looking for some homemade gifts that are simple and easy. My mom loves gardening, cooking, cross stitching, etc. Does anyone have any good ideas?

If she loves cross stitching, she'll have all the supplies on hand. Why don't you make her a little cross stich pillow that says "I love you Mom" and the year?
Or make her a nice card (get a book from the library) and maybe serve her breakfast in bed.

You're very sweet for asking about this. Your mom should be proud!
Good luck and have fun doing whatever you decide.

Take a big can that held canned apricots or peaches, etc. Download some free paper from http://www.scrapbookscrapbook.com and glue on the outside, or even use fabric. She can put kitchen utensils, like spatulas in it.
Sew or buy a kneeling pad for the garden. They cost about $1, or make your own using a heavy fabric and something inside to cushion her knees. Buy a pretty pair of gardening gloves and watering can, etc.

You can always cook your mum her favourite cake or biscuits & then wrap them in some cellophane with a pretty bow. (and your mum should have all the ingrediants in the panty)anything you do your mum will love because it isn't the cost of the gift but the love that it is given
