Ok, I am trying to do something crafty. Usually Im not to bad at it. So I bought these wood plaques from the store, they are about 1foot x 1 foot each. I am going to paint them, then attach ribbon to each one on the back, and make a hanging plaque for my bathroom wall. Only I cant think of any thing to write on them!

I love country saying. (ok, so they might not be county, but they are on all my americana stuff) For example....Live, Laugh, Love. Work like you dont need the money, Love like you've never been hurt, and Dance like no one is watching. Always kiss me goodnight...etc.

But I need something doffernt for the bathroom. Do you have any ideas?

I'm covering a belt with Hoyle playing cards, but I'm not sure of how to attach them. They'll be layered in a diagonal array across the length of the belt, with the excess edges folding over. Any suggestions?

I was given 10-12 blue "ivy bowls" - those little round bowls with the scalloped edge. I feel obligated to use them for the shower. Problem is 1.) The baby is a girl. 2.) Most of the colors being used are pink and green with a "rose" theme.

Does anyone have an idea of what I can do with the bowls? I can't float a rose in them because they are too dark to see through, really.

I am thinking about opening my own business. Basically it would be a crafting space where you could pay by the hour, day, week or month. It would also be a space where crafters could showcase their work and sell it on commission. So my question is do you think there is a market out there for this service? Or do you have any suggestions for improving this and making it a more viable business idea?

I got two huge rolls of very very fuzzy yarn. I am a beginner at knitting and I really don't understand how people can use this stuff. "Worsted weight" is way better. I tried making a scarf with fuzzy yarn and I did about three rows of knitting, then I just gave up because I couldn't see what the hell I was doing. The colors also look like they skinned muppets for their fur and turned the fur into this yarn.

I am sick of searching for "DIY" "how to" or "plans to make a" and getting 8000 websites SELLING plans. I am not interested in buying plans and I know there are a lot of free ones out there. Please let me know good places to look for free plans to build fun and or interesting stuff. My only thing is I dont want expensive projects. If I can substitute materials and what not to keep it under 100$ max I'm interested... IF you reply God Bless you. (If you dont God Bless you anyway)

This may sound stupid but, are memory albums the same as scrapbooks? I thought scrapbooks had a paper page, not a plastic sheet protector. My Mom bought me a bunch of scrapbooking supplies for Christmas & included 3 memory albums. She got them from Hobby Lobby. They are expandable post bound pages, they are acid, lignin & PVC free and they each have 10 clear sheet protectors. I was just wondering because they're not "called" scrapbooks. Plus, they were fairly inexpensive & I've seen that scrapbooks are pretty pricey. I've never done ANY scrapbooking & I'd appreciate any tips anyone can offer! Like, can I print my own pictures or should I order reprints? Yeah, obviously I'm a rookie...

Thanks for any advice!
