For Christmas, I got my mom a set of wine glasses and I want to hand paint them...

I don't want to paint seasonal things on them because i want her to be able to use them all year round...

Any Suggestions? Nothing too difficult...I'm talented, but I only have 3 days...

I don't have a lot more then around $20, but I just have no idea what to make. I want to make a pretty Christmas craft, and not just making a foam or painted ornament. Please tell me some ideas, for I need a good idea by Saturday. Thanks!

I need to make a 6 foot tall rook (chess piece). It has to be light weight, resistant as I'll drive it around and it can not be made of chicken wire, cloth or styrofoam (I got those answeres before). It has to look real neat with a good finish. Please help me find the material I can use to build this thing - Thanks.

I found this table in an antique store and my parents have an end table similar. I'm not sure if it is really Art Deco or a reproduction. Are there any tips anyone can give to help me? It is a coffee table with a blue mirror top. The mirror has lines etched in it about an inch from the sides forming a design. The wood has been painted so I cannot identify the wood. It does need work, but I am willing to restore if it is authentic. Thank you for your help!
Please go to http://www.geocities.com/brendayepbrenda/table.html for pictures of the table.

I want to put my name in rhinestones on my running shirt (I'm doing a marathon on 1/7) and I've never done this before, what are the best rhinestones and glue to use? The shirt is 100% poly. I don't need them to stay on forever, just a few hours. Thanks for any tips you can offer.

I am looking for a new sewing machine. I cannot spend over $100.00 (though I would really like to spend less than that if possible).

My question - I need an inexpensive machine, but not a "cheap" one. I will be using it frequently, and I need it to be good quality.

What brand/model would you reccomend? They all look the same to me...
