I'm in need of a good free pattern for a 'Newborn Baby Boy Layette" in Knitting or Crochet. I do both.

Thanks, I've seen them. What I really want is a Matching stich set, that contains.
Hat, Booties, Sweater, and Blanket.
The coming home assemble.

Here's the directory for both Knitting Pattern Central and Crochet Pattern Central for baby patterns:

http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/baby_selection.php

http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/baby.php

You'll find tons of free patterns at both sites for baby items.

Try about.com/knitting. They have a large library of free patterns. However, your best bet would be to go to your local yarn or book store and look at some of the leafletts or pattern books that feature layettes.
