I would recommend making Christmas Cookies & Candies (find recipes at http:allrecipes.com) and then put the goodies in Holiday decorated containers/baskets.
or you can buy the case of empty ball jars and make the gift-n-a-jar stuff (cookies in a jar, brownies in a jar, Hot Choclate mix).

You could take some of the old fashioned kind of clothes pins(the kind without the metal spring) found at any craft store.
some "google" eyes and other bits you find and make reindeer ornaments, or they could be used as package decorations.
Items needed:
Glue
wooden clothes pins(the flat kind)
felt or pipe cleaners
mini pom-poms
small movable eyes "google" eyes
beads or bits of ribbon
anything festive to decorate
Glue two clothes pins together facing the same way, this would form the body/legs. Then glue one top part to the body/legs, with the large flat surfaces being glued together. This creates the head/antlers. Now glue on eyes, a nose(red pom-pom can be used for Rudolph) and add decorations such as a tail, a bell on a ribbon collar, that kind of thing. You could draw on them, paint them, whatever you desire.
Kind of like this: ( || ) that would be the two clothes pins to form the body. Then add the last one to the end like this with the opening facing the opposite direction ( I|| ) sorry, hard to render in type. But what you have is a 3-D reindeer.
If you glue a bit of string between the body and head it will be ready to hang!
Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!
(My son loves to make these too)

Melt a large bag of chocolate chips in the microwave then stir in some skinny pretzel sticks and some peanuts and pour into a foil lined cookie sheet ( use one with deep sides if possible) and drop the sheet from a height of about 2" a couple of times on a flat surface to even out the mixture. When it has hardened melt a small bag of white chocolate chips and but melted mixture into a thick plastic zipper bag and snip off a tiny corner and swirl/drizzle the melted chips all over your chocolate bark the shake some of those colorful little round cookie sprinkles here and there for added color. Once the bark is completely hardened, break into chunks and divide into plastic bags and place these in brown lunch bags that you can decorate with stickers, markers or stamps. For an added touch fold a gold paper doily in half and staple over the top of the bag and tie on a little tag/ornament and give as gifts.

I made 6 pairs of altered flip flops in two days. I used regular fabric. I cut it into 1 1/2" x 8" stripes and tied them onto the thong thingy on the flip flops. They came out really nice. I tailored them to each personality. For my friend that likes horses, I did horses and horseshoe material, etc.
Quick, easy, and not too overly expensive. Old Navy sells their flip flops for $2.50-$3.50 a pair.

You could make picture frames for everyone and include a picture of yourself or a picture of you and them. Buy plain picture frames and paint them or make them out of popsicle sticks. Everyone loves to get pictures and picture frames for Christmas! I know I do!
