I have been searching for the shrimp sauce reciepe that they have in Japanese Steakhouses. Found a couple and made them. Turned out nothing like the kind in the steakhouses. Know of any books or websites that may have it?

if we take an apple from the tree it is still called an apple since we do not alter its appearence in any way but if we were to make a sauce out of the apple we would then call it apple sauce same reasoning should be applied to the corn. if corn comes right off the stock it should just be called corn but when the corn kernels are taken off the cob to be canned they should be called corn off the cob.

When I cut brownies in the pan, the brownie will stick to the knife as I cut and does not leave a clean edge to the brownie. I want a nice smooth cut, like cutting a cake. Do I need a certain type of knife or to wet the knife first? Any suggestions?
