Could someone please explain the difference to me. I always assumed that the tenderloin was one long piece, and the filet mignon were individual steaks cut from the tenderloin. The butcher at my local Kroger informed me that this isn't so. He said the part known as the "filet mignon" is actually the two end pieces (much smaller/more tapered than the center of the tenderloin). Is this true?

on myspace there are 2 groups by 2 different girls, one girls group is dedicated to people who say peppermint chewing gum is the best and spearmint chewing gum sucks & the other girls group is dedicated to people who who say spearmint chewing gum is the best and say peppermint chewing gum sucks. so i want to know the truth from chewing gum lovers, what do you say about it, what group would you join, peppermint or spearmint chewing gum?.

It really bothers me how her hair hangs down over the food she's preparing. Rachel Ray's does, too. Shouldn't they have their hair pinned back while they cook??? Eeew.

My kids after school don't eat just one snack after school, they act like they are starving and want to cook meals. My wife takes the time to cook a good dinner and the kids won't be hungry since their stomach is still full.
I'm just tring to get some good snack ideas to keep the kids from eating big after school meals.
I'm not home when they are right after school so its hard and kids will be kids and will eat everything but the healthy stuff.

I really need some advice for what happen to me and my family. We were dining at a nice restaurant the other day and a vegan apparenly spit in our food. I had ordered a surf and turf platter and this waiter made a shrewd comment when he set my plate down on the table. He commented that the lobster was boiled alive and he hoped it was worth it? I have no idea what he meant by that, but he said it in a rude tone of voice. After inspecting my food, I noticed a shiny spat on the lobster that looked like a loogie.

When I asked the waiter if I could speak to his manager, he said his manager was not available. I also asked him about the shiny spat on my food and he denied he spit on it. Me and my family were so humiliated by this experience that we just finished our meal and left the restaurant. My kids were traumatized by the whole experience.

Should I call the restaurant and try to follow up on this? or should I just let it go. My wife feels I should do something about it.

I went their for an interview, and they said their only hiring minors till after school over which is a week and a half away. The lady said she was going to call me, what are the chance she actually calls me, I say less than 10%.
