Ok, so you are competing with lots of other kids for a position at McDonalds. They have openings for the summer, which will start when you get out of school. Before you jump in their "stuff", have you considered the following?

1. Did you make it thru the interview successfully? (you might want to take a look at your spelling and sentence structure while your at it)
2. Did you have a resume and references? Which means, have you worked anyplace doing anything before?
3. How did you dress? Even at McDonalds' employers want potential employees to look their best. And, that includes their hygiene.
4. Were you able to answer their questions without using a lot of slang, poor language and did your sentences make sense?

Ok, no judgement here, but when you are competing for even a minimum wage job, you have to really shine in that first interview in order to get to the second. So, consider this, McDonald's isn't the end of the world. You have Burger King, Chik-Fil-A, Carls Junior, Taco Bell and a whole host of others to apply to. If at first you don't succeed, try try again!

P.S. McDonald's was the only job I hated enough to walk off of without notice!

You may wish to review the following from The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission:

The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA) protects individuals who are 40 years of age or older from employment discrimination based on age. The ADEA's protections apply to both employees and job applicants. Under the ADEA, it is unlawful to discriminate against a person because of his/her age with respect to any term, condition, or privilege of employment, including hiring, firing, promotion, layoff, compensation, benefits, job assignments, and training.

Stay cool! I think she'll call. You get a free meal of whatever you like after your shift.
