NO! you cannot do that you have a risk of poisoning yourself. you can pull it out cook it then freeze it. but no you cannot thaw then re-freeze. Although i sometimes see the meat at the store like the chicken that was pulled out of the freezer and we buy it and we refreeze it. but we don't wait 4 days. I suggest you go get checked. they just draw blood.

If the temp in your fridge is between 40 and 140 degrees it is not safe. It is called the danger zone because it is the optimum temperature for growth of harmful organisms on food. Check the temp in your fridge. Food should never be in the danger zone longer than 4 hrs, from the time you purchase it to the time you eat it. It does pass thru the danger zone when you cook it for instance, or if it cools while sitting on a platter being served. Total time should not exceed 4 hrs. Hope this helps. Hope you feel better.

Not if was thawed out the entire time it was in the fridge. Rule of thumb on thawed meat is 2-3 days max. Don't risk food poisoning. Besides, it will destroy the texture of the meat.

No!!! You are supose to cook the meat the day you defrost it.Leaving it in the fridge for 4 days...can cause the meat to spoil. You arent supose to re-freeze any meat no matter what if you defrost it you need to cook it right away no waiting..especially if the date is an older or expired date...

No! doing that causes bacteria to grow and it can make you sick. Food poising the good news is it only lasts a couple of days and usually you don't have to see the doctor. Lots of water and pepto. never refreeze food.
