I watched a video on myspace, and it really grossed me out. I mean, can these worms hurt us? Why have I never heard of this before?? What kills them? Have you ever tried this? I am running out to the store for coke and pork chops.

At the candy store near me they sell these candies called taffy lights. They come in many flavors like chocolate, cherry and cinnamon. I want to buy them in bulk online but i can't find them anywhere.

Has anyone ever heard of them?

They are very small, bight size pieces, they are the same size as a peppermint, sucking candy

Hi,

I am looking for a bakery where they can make eggless cake to order for birthdays. I am not too fond of Hot Breads in Sunnyvale as they have only 2 standard cakes - Pineapple and chocolate and we are very bored of the same. Are there any other recommendations ?

Thanks in advance

We were discussing why you shouldn't eat food that had been sitting out on the counter for an hour or longer, and how you could get salmonella or e-coli poisoning from eating it.

My daughter the pointed out, that the reason we COOK our food before eating it is to remove harmful bacteria such as salmonella and e-coli which might be present. In which case, if there was an item of food that had been left on the counter for an hour or more, then re-heated to a temperature of 200 degrees or more, that any bacteria would be killed.

So what she's asking is, would it be okay to eat food that has been left sitting out for hours on end, if you re-heated it to a safe temperature (200 degrees or more) before eating it.

Why she'd want to do this, I have no idea....but a question's a question!

I was wondering how companies distinguish how much fat, saturated fats, trans fat, protien, vitamins, cholestorol in the food we buy. I could understand some products like Ice Cream but how do they know that in milk or meat that there is specifcally like 14g of protein and 14mg of calcium.
